Trying to update my profile with an avatar and it's not working. Anything special I need to do?

I tried to reload my avatar to no avail. It's an animated .gif file. will that work or not. If not I will get sometihing else. It's only 19 KB.

Did you follow the new instructions? anims should work. I've tested it and it worked ... I'll keep playing .
