The marshaling problem can be fixed not simply not letting drivers go back to the pits after their race. We should set up an inspection table by the back corner where racers put their equipment, then they go to their numbered marshaling position. This way there is no excuse for not showing up to marshal.

We can try it, but i've been to races where they do this, and it wasn't too much fun when I broke something cause i'd have to stay out i couldn't do anything even get someone else to marshall for me.

I'm game to try anything I've been racing since 1987 and I've seen just about every setup there is and no one has figured out how to change human nature yet. I'm all for trying tho. I think a combination of all of these things will work. We just have to be up for trying and do our best not to be you know ... that guy

No, one of the 12th scale races, we actually waited 4 minutes... with everyone on the driver's stand ready to go as the computer counted down. Nothing we did got anyone's attention to start the race, so we just stood there.

In 4 minutes someone could have walked off the stand come to the front changed the countdown and gotten back on the stand .

I think having the computer in the track area will get us over this issue though.

Well I realize its been some time since results are being posted to jlaps so is it possible to put a pdf link up to see race results. One thing to add here it sure was nice to be home by 9:30 with all the fun I had this weekend. Thank You

I know I'm a newbie to your tracks but in my past experience i found that you make sure that ALL drivers understand that if they dont marshal for all the races they are to marshal, either their fastest heat will be taken away or a time penalty for the main will be taken. Unless a damn good reason is excepted by the person/people running the race.
