So everyone wants to know which truck to get.
My answer ... the cheapest one we can get haha.
But here is a break down of what is what:
Traxxas Slash: Cheapest and toughest of the bunch, not the best performer but it will take a lickin, and is waterproof.
HPI Blitz: One of the better handling 2wd and reasonably priced, not quite as tough as the Slash but can stand up to a real brusing. Not waterproof.
HPI Blitz ESE is expensive, up int he 230+ range and comes in kit form.
Associated SC10: Great handling (based off the T4) not quite as tough as the two above, available in kit form cheap and looks pretty dam good to boot. Not water proof.
Associated SC10 Factory Team is expensive similar to the Blitz ESE and we suggest you keep it cheap.
Kyosho Ultima SC: On par with the Associated truck, shares parts with the Ultima RB5
Venom SCX is also legal but i don't know many details.

The Losi Strike is too big to run w/ the others and is not an option
The Slash 4x4 is also not very fair, it drives like a touring car, you'd run rings around everyone and we can't have that ... well at least unless it was Nathan that you were running rings around ;0.
The Ofna Jammin SC10 is also 4wd and is not kosher for the class.
Goal here folks is 200 or less to get you ON THE TRACK! meanign your outlay is 200. I have a personal interest in keeping this cheap

. We are shooting to be able to have a fun summer kinda like with the Cup cars. Motors are up in the air, may be 27t or 15t depending.
We will have an SC10 Kit and a Blitz RTR in the shop on Friday evening.
