Reaching out to manufacturers send us some goodies for the race!

To be clear, BOX STOCK is what we will be running at the bowl as a regular club class. There is open mod ONLY for the Cups at the 'Bowl event.

As far as the out of the box rules go the only changes will be.


Threaded shocks
Springs
Sway bars


Everything else has to be out of the box stock.

What Nate is really trying to say is: anything HE has done to hop up his car is legal! Just kidding. It really makes sense to allow those things for better handling since we will be using the box stock tires. I guess the one exception to this rule should be that if someone has purchased the drift kit, we should allow them to convert over to the same tires we use in the standard kit.

yeah I dont think the drift tires would work out to well. And John how about that mod

One other question about "box stock" that needs to be clarified. The kit comes with a 30 tooth pinion, but in an effort to keep motor temperature down, we have all pretty much dropped to a 27 or 28 tooth, we will need to decide what will be allowed as far as gearing.

Don't shoot me, but another thing to consider. We have been running 5 minute heats for the Cup Racers. A while back, to make things interesting in the M18 class we ran a lap count main, I think it was somewhere around 35 laps or so. Could we consider something like this at least for the special event coming up?
